Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is a specialized training method that focuses on strengthening the muscles used in ballet technique while promoting correct alignment, stability, and control. Our Level 1 program introduces dancers to the fundamental principles of PBT and provides a solid foundation for their ballet training.

 

Program Highlights:

  • PBT Fundamentals: In our Level 1 Program, dancers will learn the fundamental exercises and concepts of Progressing Ballet Technique. They will be introduced to specific exercises that target the deep muscles required for ballet technique, such as the core, hips, and feet. These exercises aim to improve strength, stability, and muscle memory, enhancing overall technique and performance.

  • Body Awareness and Alignment: PBT emphasizes proper alignment and body awareness. Building upon the foundation established in Level 1, our Level 2 Program takes dancers further in their journey of Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). This program focuses on advancing their strength, stability, alignment, and control, providing a comprehensive training experience for dancers seeking to excel in their ballet technique.

  • Advanced PBT Exercises: In our Level 2 Program, dancers will be introduced to a wider range of advanced PBT exercises. These exercises target specific muscle groups used in ballet technique, challenging dancers to further develop their strength, stability, and control. Dancers will engage in exercises that require increased coordination, balance, and muscular endurance.

  • Enhanced Body Awareness and Alignment: Level 2 emphasizes deepening dancers' body awareness and refining their alignment. They will develop a greater understanding of how proper alignment affects their technique and overall performance.
